It's that time of year again. To answer your question,
YES, you do have to register EVERY year - we all do. Your current USA Hockey Officials Registration expires on December 1, 2010, meaning you can NO longer work USA Hockey games after November 30, 2010. Therefore, you MUST be completed with ALL of the registration and tests, with NEW Crest in hand prior to November 30, 2010.
Registration for the
2010-11 season is open on USA Hockey.com. Online registration for the seminar
also open. I would encourage everybody to enroll in a seminar as soon as
possible as dates/spaces are limited. I encourage everybody to attend a seminar
as early in the season as possible. Dates and spaces are limited and I can not
guarantee available seats at any of the seminars. Below again are the steps you
need to take to register for a seminar.
STEP 1) Register as an on-ice official for the 2010-11 season with USA Hockey.
online registration page. Please make sure you register for the correct level.
Once you select a level, USA Hockey will not be able to change it. That will be
the level you apply for.
STEP 2) Create a profile for the USA Hockey website. If you have already done
this you can skip to STEP 3. If you have not yet created a profile for the USA
Hockey website you can
You will need to have the profile in order to register for a seminar.
STEP 3) Enroll in a seminar through the USA Hockey website. You can find the
list of Arizona Seminars
HERE. To enroll in a seminar simply click on the seminar you would like to
attend (make sure you enroll in the correct level class) and sign into the
website. The website will then confirm that you are eligible to enroll in that
level of seminar. Click on the "Click Here to Enroll in this Seminar" button to
complete enrollment.
Additional information on the agenda and classroom location will sent to
officials enrolled approximately 1 week before the start of the seminar.
